What you will Receive:
Your 4" OR 6” starter plant will be securely wrapped in a growers pot with soil for safe shipping. You will receive 1 plant per order, unless you chose a quantity of two or more.
Alocasia maharani 'Grey Dragon' has these gorgeous green leaves with grey undertones that are velvety in texture. This stunning houseplant will be a great addition to your urban jungle.
Grey Dragon Alocasia Plant Care:
Light: Bright indirect light
Water: Prefers soil that is moist but be careful to avoid soggy soil. Allow the top couple of inches of soil to dry out before watering again. If repotting, we suggest a well-draining potting mix. Requires more water during growing months and less in the winter when new growth slows down.
Temperature: Grey Dragons thrive in the 65°F - 80°F temperature range and are a bit sensitive to changes in their environment.
Humidity: Since they are a tropical plant they do prefer warm, humid environments- You can increase the humidity with a humidifier or placing your plant in a well-lit bathroom where it will experience consistent humidity levels.
Fertilizer: You can use a general indoor house plant fertilizer once every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Please do not use any fertilizer in the winter months when Alocasia plant growth slows down. Please do not apply fertilizer to dry soil, this will burn the roots and kill your plant.
